Decorative Streetlights: LED Bulb Conversion

Easley Combined Utilities is converting our decorative streetlights to LED bulbs. This system-wide project will upgrade 1,200 lights – resulting in more efficient, better lighting.
WHEN
The project is planned to kick off mid-April 2026 with an estimated completion in August 2026.
This is a system-wide project to upgrade approximately 1,200 lights.
AREAS IMPACTED
This project will impact the entire system, specifically areas that have underground decorative lighting like subdivisions and apartment complexes. Areas of recent construction (past five years) already have LED lighting in place.
INSTALLATION TIMING
The upgrade process for each streetlight will take approximately 15 minutes.

This upgrade to the decorative streetlights will provide more efficient operation and better lighting for Easley residents - without additional fees for customers.
