Electric

Six electrical substations deliver power at a voltage of 12.47 kV and serve 25 circuits. The circuits run for a total of 394 miles and serve over 17,000 customers.

Our Organization

Easley Combined Utilities is a citizen-created, not-for-profit, locally owned and locally controlled utility.

Sewer

ECU owns and operates 3 waste water treatment plants with a total treatment capacity of 4.9 MGD. ECU has 212 miles of sewer line and utilizes 26 pump stations.

Water

ECU has a combination of ground-level storage and elevated water storage totaling 15.5 million gallons. ECU serves its 13,300 customers with 234 miles of water line.

ECU Infrastructure Grant Program

Our Grant Program is targeted for commercial businesses that are rehabilitating existing buildings in the Tax Increment Financing District of the City of Easley.
